Mahogany Linen Press c.1810

Handsome early 19th.c. mahogany linen press c.1810. Two door cupboard top fitted with four sliding shelves (internal depth). Over a chest of two short and two long drawers of graduated height. Crisp moulded cornice over panelled doors featuring symmetrically arranged oval flame mahogany veneers with an inlaid and crossbanded border and moulded surround. Solid mahogany drawer fronts with cockbeaded edges and the original brass swan neck handles. Moulded trim to the waist and base. Raised on slim bracket feet at the front and sides. Solid mahogany sides to the cabinet. Oak linings to the slides and drawers. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
Separates into two pieces for delivery.
