Small Yew Wood Writing Desk c.1930

Charming little yew wood writing desk c.1930. Just 31½" wide. Bank of eight small drawers with tiny turned bone knobs, over a red leather writing surface (height 29") with one long drawer below. Beautifully figured veneers to the top, drawer fronts and crossbanding around the leather. Serpentine shaped front edge repeated on the middle two smaller drawers, wavy gallery around the top. On square tapering legs with moulded collars front and rear. Veneered sides and rear, polished all round. Superior quality with oak drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
