Mahogany Display Easel c.1910

Fine quality Edwardian era mahogany display easel c.1910. Solid mahogany A frame with hinged rear leg. Adjustable shelf with a raised front edge (21"x 3") sliding up and down to take a large canvas, held in place with a decorative brass locking screw. Arch shaped top carved with a concentric roundel over a pierced frieze. Reeded uprights topped with crisp turned finials, joined with reeded stretchers, shaped at the foot for extra stability. Some old scuffs to the timber, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
