Faux Bamboo Dressing Table Chest of Drawers c.1890

Late 19th.c. French faux bamboo dressing table chest of drawers c.1890. Adjustable 15" x 19" mirror with frame and stand turned and carved to resemble bamboo, reflecting the fashion for Japanese art and design in the period. Over a chest of two short and two long drawers with white marble top and splash back and a towel rail to both sides. Bamboo style decoration to the drawer fronts, the front corners and to the apron at the front and sides. With one replacement drawer knob and escutcheon. Otherwise excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
