French Empire Dressing Table c.1820

Superb early 19th.c. French Empire mahogany dressing table c.1820. 21" x 16" mirror in an octagonal frame, angle adjustable on conforming yoke with lovely Egyptian inspired carved finials. Original white marble table top (height 30½") with a very slightly raised edge to prevent things rolling or spilling over the sides. Flame mahogany veneered base with a single lockable drawer on curving front supports over an open plinth with shaped front edge. Raised on carved claw feet at the front and neat little brass castors below. Some minor wear to the veneers, otherwise excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
