Empire Style Marble Top Gueridon Centre Table c.1900.
Unusual French Empire style marble top gueridon centre table c.1900. 43" diameter top in a very attractively figured pale brown marble known as 'Napoleon Grande Malange' with a raised edge. Over a flame mahogany veneered apron with three large anthemion motif brass mounts. Raised on three turned and tapering mahogany column legs with large chased brass mounts to the top and feet. Having legs rather than a single central column is an unusual feature and makes this a particularly sturdy table. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
