Small Inlaid Mahogany Sideboard c.1820

Charming little early 19th.c. mahogany sideboard c.1820. Bow fronted with two drawers flanked with a cupboard door to the left and a drawer to the right. Well figured mahogany veneers with fine inlaid stringing and border to the top and repeated on the door and drawer fronts. Lovely inlaid fan spandrels and large shell motif to the central frieze drawer and harebell garlands to the uprights. Raised on square tapering legs also inlaid on the fronts. The handles are later replacements but of the correct style for the period. Minor wear and repairs to the veneers on the top. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
