Large Bow Front Mahogany Chest of Drawers c.1860

Large mid 19th.c. mahogany bow fronted chest of drawers c.1860. Solid mahogany top with projecting front corners and a reeded edge. Over two short drawers and four long drawers of graduated height. Beautifully figured veneers to the drawer fronts with cockbeaded edges and the origin turned knobs. Flanked with crisp reeded and turned columns running the full height of the chest and continuing to the ground to form the front feet. Superior quality with solid mahogany sides and ash drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
