Mahogany & Marble Top Console Table c.1840

Superb mid 19th.c. mahogany and marble top console table c.1840. Original white marble top with rounded front corners. On a particularly well figured flame mahogany veneered base (on oak groundwork) with a single oak lined drawer hidden in the frieze. Curving bracket front supports with moulded plinths over scrolling corbels with crisp carved detail to both sides. On a cupid’s bow shaped plinth, veneered to match and raised on carved claw feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
