Marble Topped Gueridon Table c.1830

Early 19th.c. French marble top centre table or gueridon c.1830. Original 35″ diameter marble top with a slightly raised edge designed to prevent spilt drinks from running off the sides. With a mahogany veneered apron and raised on a faceted concave-sided triform base with matched flame mahogany veneers and unusually carved paw feet, with brass barrel castors below. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
