Very Tall Gilt Mirror or Pier Glass c.1900

Unusually tall and narrow pier glass mirror c.1900. Just 37" wide but over eight feet tall. Would make a great statement dressing mirror in a bedroom or dress shop perhaps. 31" x 83" mirror plate with a shaped top. Within fine wooden frame with bands of moulded detail. Topped with a tall pierced frieze featuring a flower garland, Classical torch and arrow quiver. Very good condition with the original gilt finish. Original paper label to the rear for the makers Jean Leys of Bruxelles. Minor tarnish to the mirror and some old wear and repairs to the frame.
