Carved Oak Barometer c.1870

Splendid late 19th.c. mercury stick barometer and thermometer c.1870. Of superior quality with a fine oak case with a triangular pediment and crisp carved detail. With adjustable markers for recording and comparing the atmospheric pressure from one day to the next plus various observations to the barometer panel. The thermometer is marked for Fahrenheit and Centigrade. Excellent working condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
