Pale Oak Bookcase with Art Nouveau Panels c.1900

Late 19th.c. pale oak bookcase c.1900. Glazed two door bookcase top fitted with three shelves (depth 9¼”). Over a two door cupboard base with two drawers in the waist. Crisp flared and moulded cornice, arch top glazing and reeded uprights. Moulded drawer fronts with large brass handles, carved detail to either side over reeding repeated from the top. Unusual Art Nouveau style carving to the door panels and a shaped apron to the bottom edge at the front and sides. Solid oak sides and drawer linings. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
