Welsh Painted Pine Dresser Base c.1860

Mid 19th.c. Welsh painted pine kitchen dresser base c.1860. Three drawers over two cupboards (internal depth 18") and a bank of dummy drawer fronts with a central partition behind. Scumbled paintwork to resemble more expensive oak timbers. Original turned wooden knobs and inlaid bone escutcheons. Panelled sides and rear. Obvious wear and a couple of patched repairs to the top. Repairs to the feet at the rear. Otherwise good condition, solid and sturdy. Restored cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
