Tall Empire Style Brass Mounted Bookcase c.1930

Very impressive French Empire style brass mounted mahogany bookcase display c.1930. Standing eight feet tall, with two long glazed doors fitted inside with four adjustable shelves (depth 17½"), over two useful drawers in the waist. Flared and moulded cornice with brass inlay and large Empire style brass mounts. Crossed glazing bars to the upper portion of the doors. The brass inlays and mounts are continued on the doors and side pilasters. Drawer fronts also inlaid to match and with large laurel wreath pattern handles. Particularly well figured mahogany sides and raised on a moulded plinth. Mahogany back panels and drawer linings. Very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
Note this bookcase can be disassembled into flat sections for delivery.
