Terracotta Bust of a Girl by Gilbert Privat c.1930

Unusual Art Deco era terracotta bust of a girl or young woman by the French sculptor Gilbert Privat (1892 - 1969) c.1930. Head and shoulders length bust of a girl with her hair in plaits, shown in profile and modelled in high relief against a stylized floral background. In glazed terracotta, signed in the clay to the right hand side. Excellent condition.
