Standard Lamp with Wine Table c.1930

Unusual Art Deco era mahogany standard lamp with table c.1930. Single bulb on a tapering octagonal section column with alternating crossbanded and straight grain mahogany veneers. The column also supports a 22" diameter wine table, also with alternating veneers (in walnut this time) to striking effect and with a lovely inlaid detail to the edge. Raised on elegant cast brass tripod legs with swept feet, of good weight and set wide apart for stability. Excellent colour and condition. Cleaned, waxed and rewired in our workshops. PAT tested.
