Small Walnut Console Table c.1860

Unusually small mid 19th.c. walnut and marble top console table c.1860. Just 32” wide. Original grey marble top with rounded front corners. Over a single drawer in the front symmetrically arranged walnut veneers to the drawer front, continued at the sides. Cabriole shaped front legs and straight rear stiles over an open plinth with concave front and sides, raised on turned front feet. A small chip to the rear left hand edge of the marble otherwise very good condition and attractive mellow colour. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
