Small Regency Mahogany Chiffonier Side Cabinet c.1815

Delightful little Regency mahogany chiffonier side cabinet with an unusual secretaire drawer c.1815. Useful small size, just 30" wide. Open the drawer to make a writing desk with an adjustable sliding slope with storage space below. Over a two door cupboard with two adjustable shelves (internal depth 9½"). Very well figured flame mahogany veneers to the top and front with inlaid ebony stringing and a brass door trim. Carved anthemion motifs either side of the drawer over a fine pair of twist carved columns. Raised on the original carved and turned legs front and rear. Patched repairs to the veneers on the top, otherwise excellent colour and condition, restored cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Cupboard key supplied.
