Small Oak Pedestal Desk c.1890

Late 19th.c. oak pedestal desk c.1890. 42″ x 24″ top with original tooled leather skiver and an ogee moulded edge over three drawers. Raised on twin pedestals, each with three drawers of graduated height. Moulded drawer fronts with the original and unusual brass handles (note the registered design number on each backplate). Reeded uprights and moulded plinths raised on the original ceramic castors bellow. Solid oak sides and mahogany drawer linings. Obvious wear to the leather which could be replaced if preferred. Ohterwise excellent colour and condition, repairs to the corners of the plinths, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
