Small Marble Top Gueridon Centre Table c.1830

Lovely little early 19th.c. French marble top gueridon or centre table c.1830. A little smaller than many we see, with a 32" diameter circular top in black marble with scores of tiny white fossils embedded within. Flame mahogany veneered apron and column with a quality Empire style tooled brass collar around the base. Raised on a tricorn plinth veneered to match, pad feet and metal castors. Numerous small repairs to the veneers, otherwise very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
