Small Marble Top Console Table c.1960

Unusual carved and painted Louis XVI style marble top console table c.1960. Original and very well figured marble top, breakfronted and with a moulded edge. On a carved wooden base with a pierced frieze to the front and sides and swagged and scrolling garlands to the front apron. Raised on six turned and tapering legs with carved acanthus leaf tops, slim flutes and further carved detail to the feet. Original pale grey/green paintwork, worn and rubbed through in places. Otherwise very good condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
