Small Georgian Oak Chest of Drawers c.1780

Sweet little George III oak chest of drawers c.1780. Unusually small, just 31" wide. With two small drawers over three long drawers of graduated height. Solid oak top and drawer fronts both with a simple moulded edge and inlaid mahogany crossbanding. Ogee base moulding and raised on short bracket feet at the front and sides. Solid oak sides and drawer linings. Great character with obvious old wear and period replacement brass handles. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, restored cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
