Small Framed Oil Painting of a Grandmother & Child c.1900

Delightful little framed oil painting on canvas c.1900. Charming genre scene of a young child sat on his grandmother’s knee at a table and playing with a bowl of water and a sponge. Just 8″ x 9½” and very nicely painted with some fine detail, note the grandmother’s hands steadying the lovely green slipware bowl. Presented in the original deep moulded and gilded frame. Excellent condition.
