Small Oak Cottage Welsh Dresser c.1800
Delightful little early 19th.c. oak cottage Welsh dresser c.1800. Unusual small size, just less than five feet wide and only 74½" tall. Short plate rack with two shelves (the top one pierced with slots to display spoons) and two small cupboards with ogee pointed arch door panels. Moulded cornice and solid oak sides with shaped canopy top and shoes. Pine back boards. Over an enclosed base with a row of three drawers over two cupboards (internal depth 18") and a central bank of three smaller drawers. Shaped door panels matching those on the rack and good quality brass door and drawer knobs. Raised on shaped bracket feet front and rear. Solid oak panelled sides, pine drawer linings and back panels. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied for both doors in the base.
