Small 18th.c. Oak Coffer c.1720

Small 18th.c oak coffer or chest c.1720. Panelled lid opening to reveal storage space inside plus a small compartment to the right hand side, the lid of which forms a stay for the lid of the chest. Particularly attractive and original carved design to the front panels and top rail. Plus moulded and chip carved detail to the mullions, bottom rail and running the length of the front stiles. Oak panelled sides and rear, oak floor boards. Some previous restorations with later hinges and the interior having been stained and polished. Minor wear to the top, otherwise good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
