Regency Rosewood Teapoy c.1830
Beautiful late Regency rosewood teapoy c.1830. Sarcophagus shape box with a useful flat (rather than domed) top. Opening to reveal a fitted interior with three removable air tight caddies in mahogany with rosewood veneered tops and two baize lined recesses for mixing bowls. Raised on a tapering square shaped and moulded column with a gadroon collar. Shaped plinth with acanthus and scroll carved feet with the original brass castors. Missing one of the internal caddies, otherwise excellent condition. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
