Rosewood Sofa Table c.1835

Superb William IV rosewood sofa table c.1835. Highly figured rosewood veneered top with a gadroon moulded edge. With two folding leaves held on hinged loafers (total length with the leaves 58") . Moulded apron with a single drawer concealed in the front, the design is also repeated on the other side of the table. Raised on a tapering column pedestal with a gadrooned collar over a shaped plinth, both also rosewood veneered. On splendid carved claw feet with the original brass barrel castors recessed below. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
