Inlaid Mahogany Revolving Bookcase c.1905
Fine quality Edwardian mahogany revolving bookcase c.1905. Lovely inlaid marquetry fan roundel to the top within a satinwood, ebony and boxwood inlaid border and moulded edge over a dentil inlaid frieze. Two tiers of shelves (depth 6″ / height 9" & 11") affording over seven and a half feet of shelf space for books etc. Slatted sides, also inlaid and with large brass dome head studs. Moulded and inlaid plinth. Revolving on a crossed foot with pot castors. With an old filled scratch to one corner of the top, otherwise very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
