Regency Rosewood Fold Over Supper Table c.1830

Beautiful Regency rosewood fold over games table c.1830. Stands against the wall as an elegant console or side table or twist and open the top to make a square supper table for four people. Highly figured rosewood veneered top, with moulded and crossbanded edges over an attractive shaped and carved apron. Matching veneers to the open table leaves as well. On a turned rosewood column with segmented base and circular plinth. Raised on carved legs with scrolling feet and the original small brass castors. Minor wear to the top, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
