Pair of Marble Cassolettes c.1900

Elegant pair of French marble and brass mounted cassolette garnitures c.1900. Slim bodies and separate covers in ochre coloured marble with pale swirling grain. Extensive gilded brass mounts with Classical heads, a scrolling frieze and acanthus finials to the tops. Elaborate brass stems over matching marble plinths with shaped corners and small brass feet below. Excellent condition.
