Pair of Gothic Revival Oak Hall Chairs c.1870

Fine pair of 19th.c. Gothic Revival oak hall or side chairs c.1870. Solid oak construction, the shaped ends forming a pointed Gothic arch below the seat, joined with trellis backrests and board seats, secured with large tusk tenon joints. Chamfered edges and simple Medieval style chip carved detail to the tenons and tusks. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
