Oak Farmhouse Dining Table c.1880

Late 19th.c. French oak farmhouse dining table c.1880. Unusual oval table top with long overhanging rounded ends. On an oak base with a single drawer at one end (note the extended drawer sides allowing it to be pulled out beyond the table top) with original iron handle. Attractive slim tapering legs with turned detail and ball finial feet. Some typical general wear to the top and impressed marks around the edge (probably from the clamp of a meat grinder or similar) visible when they catch the light. Otherwise very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
