17th.c. Spanish Leather 'Arcón' Chest c.1660.

Great quality mid 17th.c. Spanish Leather Chest or Arcón c.1660. Upholstered in brown leather and decorated with extensive brass studwork including larger roundels to the front and top. Original lock, escutcheon, hasp, hinges, handles, and reinforcing brackets to the corners. Earlier repairs to the leather adding to the fabulous character, in excellent condition and colour, simply cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
