Metamorphic Mahogany Library Steps & Side Chair c.1880
Ingenious late 19th.c. mahogany metamorphic library steps and side chair c.1880. Lovely Gothic style pierced details and raised diamond mouldings to the backrest and chamfered edges to the frame and seat. Backrest and seat fold over to make a useful set of library steps with the top step at 32″ from the floor. Brass hinges and locking stay. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
