Metamorphic Library Steps & Side Chair c.1870

Late 19th.c. metamorphic library steps and side chair in walnut c.1870. Gothic style decoration to the backrest with a quatrefoil piercing. Backrest and seat fold over to make a useful set of library steps with the top step at 35″ from the floor. Brass hinges and two locking stays. Very good colour and condition, restored cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
