Marble Top Gueridon Centre Table c.1860
Mid 19th.c. French marble top centre table or gueridon c.1860. Original 37½″ diameter top in unusual ambergris coloured marble with a slightly raised edge designed to prevent spilt drinks from running off the sides and a moulded underside. With a flame mahogany veneered apron and raised on a hexagonal baluster form pedestal and tripod base with matched flame mahogany veneers, turned terminals and square pad feet raised on iron castors below. Minor wear to the marble and repairs to the veneers. Otherwise very good colour an condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
