Long Fruitwood Settle c.1820

Early 19th.c. French fruitwood settle c.1820. Very nearly seven feet long. Top rail raised on five unusual pierced splats over a three plank seat, curved for comfort. Broad shaped stiles front and rear joined with high turned arms over a repeat of the back splats at the sides. Note the attractive carved roundels to the front of the arms. Very good condition and particularly good colour and patina. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
