James Shoolbred & Co Arts & Crafts High-Back Settle with storage and inlaid decorative floral motifs. The bench features a slatted backrest with vertical wooden spindles. The top edge of the backrest is adorned with decorative inlay. This inlay consists of a repeating pattern of stylized, light-coloured floral or fruit motifs, resembling open buds or seed pods, framed by delicate, swirling tendrils. In the center of the backrest, between two decorative sections, is a rectangular panel with inlay depicting three stylized flowers with long stems. The bench has substantial, straight armrests that extend from the sides of the backrest downwards. The base of the bench is a solid box structure that forms the storage chest, with short, sturdy feet. Very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
