Georgian Mahogany Sideboard c.1810
Splendid late Georgian mahogany serving sideboard c.1810. Break fronted top with curved ends and brass rail with turned finials. Over a long centre drawer flanked with a hinged cupboard door to the left and a deep bottle drawer to the right hand side. With a second centre drawer hidden in the arched apron below. Well figured mahogany veneers with extensive inlaid boxwood and ebony stringing and crossbanded satinwood inlaid detail. Large brass lion's mask handles. Tapering square legs also with fine inlaid detail and spade block feet. Some minor wear and earlier restorations. Very good condition and particularly good colour. Cupboard door key supplied.
