French Empire Tripod Table c.1820

Superb early 19th.c. French Empire style mahogany tripod table c.1820. 29" diameter single piece solid mahogany table top with a raised edge and a decorative applied brass edge moulding. Raised on a turned mahogany column and tripod legs also with a applied brass acanthus leaf mounts. Top can be tipped to vertical when not in use, locking into place with the original brass catch. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
