Eight Drawer Dresser Base c.1780

Very unusual English dresser base c.1780. Two plank top with an applied edge moulding, note the 15" wide front board. Over an unusual configuration of four short and four long drawers arranged in two rows. Moulded edges to the drawer fronts which retain their original brass work (a rare feature) and elm drawer linings. Lovely shaped apron below the drawers running into shaped silhouette front legs. Oak panelled sides and back boards. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
