De Sede DS35 Revolving Leather Armchair c.1969

Original mid century revolving leather armchair by the celebrated Swiss manufacturers De Sede c.1969. Known as the DS35. A very comfortable high back chair with broad arms, upholstered in a soft pink leather with distinctive leather stitching. Revolving on a chrome base with five large chrome castors. The chair also reclines on a spring mechanism. Obvious wear to the leather with a small patched repair to the seat. Repair to one castor. The seat also appears to have be raised by fitting two 2" thick wooden blocks below giving a seat height of 21". Original label underneath from a New York retailer dated July 1969.
