Anglo-Indian Carved Side Table c.1920
Beautiful Anglo-Indian side table with storage, probably produced around Shrinigar in Kashmir c.1920. 24" square top with bone inlaid decoration at the centre surrounded with a fabulous carved design of Chinar leaves (similar to maple leaves), a great symbol of Kashmiri culture and heritage. Square base featuring on carved and pierced panels with Chinar leaves and seeds, set within a carved frame. One side opening to reveal useful storage space inside. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
