18th.c. Bobbin Turned Oak Side Table c.1740
Beautiful mid 18th.c. oak lowboy or side table c.1740. Solid oak two plank top with a simple rounded edge over a single slim drawer with an applied moulding to the front and brass ring handle. Raised on delighful bobbin turned and block legs front and rear, each retaining the original turned foot. Bobbin turned half height stretcher joining the front legs, straight low stretchers at the sides and rear. Oak back and sides and original oak drawer linings, note the earlier style of drawer runner received in a notch in the outer face of the drawer sides. Preserved in lovely condition, simply cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
