William IV Pale Oak Library Drum Table c.1835

Very handsome William IV pale oak library drum table c.1835. 48″ diameter top with a black leather insert within a crossbanded and thumb moulded edge over four drawers.  Top revolves, on a steel peg and runners, on a base with an elegant octagonal section column tapering toward the carved and segmented collar and circular plinth. Raised on three shaped bracket feet with a little scrolling leaf detail at the edges and the original white ceramic castors below. Excellent colour and condition, restored cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Working locks to three of the drawers, key supplied.
