Georgian Oak Housekeeper’s Cupboard c.1810.

Late Georgian oak housekeeper’s or kitchen cupboard from the Cheshire area c.1810. In two pieces with a four door cupboard top divided into two sections, each fitted with two shelves. Internal depth of 18″,  affording plenty of storage for linen or crockery (or as a pantry cupboard perhaps), and retaining the original dark green paintwork. The base features twin banks of four drawers of graduated height. Moulded cornice over a mahogany crossbanded frieze. Solid oak door and drawer fronts with mahogany crossbanded borders and cockbeaded edges. Good quality Georgian pattern brass swan neck handles. Solid oak sides to both sections. Raised on particularly attractive shaped bracket feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
Splits into two sections plus cornice for delivery.
