French Walnut Wardrobe c.1880

Stunning late 19th.c. French walnut and rosewood single door wardrobe or linen press c.1880. Arched door with a full length dressing mirror, fitted inside with four adjustable shelves (depth 14″) and a single drawer, plus another drawer in the base. Exceptionally well figured burr walnut veneers contrasted with darker rosewood across the front and sides. Arched cornice with moulded detail, shaped mirror with a bevelled edge and set in a moulded rosewood surround. Shaped apron and scroll carved feet. Sparkling maple veneers to the back of the door, rosewood shelf and drawer fronts, pale oak lined interior, back boards and drawer linings. Superb colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
