Mahogany Filing Cabinet by Cosmos of Paris c.1920

Very smart mahogany filing cabinet by the Paris makers Cosmos c.1920. Four deep filing drawers, 12″ wide inside – big enough to take A4 paper, plus a smaller docket drawer in the top, each with a sliding support inside. Mahogany drawer fronts with original brass handles and label holders (original loose leather labels in two of the holders with gold lettering for Paris and Assurances). Flat top with a raised edge, carved detail across the front and original maker’s label, plus a brass number 5 badge at the rear left hand corner. Solid mahogany frame, panelled sides and rear, polished all round. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
