Mahogany & Marble Top Console Table c.1860

Mid 19th.c. mahogany and marble top console table c.1860. Original with marble top with a moulded edge. On a flame mahogany veneered base with one long drawer hidden in the frieze. Curving bracket supports swept back toward the rear stiles. Cupid’s bow shaped plinth, veneered to match and raised on superb carved claw feet with acanthus carving at the knees. Some old wear to the veneers on the plinth, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
